Chelsea make over $116 million by humiliating PSG in the Club World Cup

Chelsea earned over 100 million euros for winning the tournament

Chelsea won the first Club World Cup in history with 32 teams after an impressive 3-0 victory over Paris Saint Germain in the final held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

It only took 45 minutes

The Blues were vastly superior and only needed the first 45 minutes to settle the series. Cole Palmer was the hero of the title by scoring a brace before the half-hour mark. Both goals were scored with a low and powerful left-footed shot inside the box.

Before the break, Joao Pedro sealed the victory with a hat-trick goal against Gianluigi Donnarumma. Although Luis Enrique’s team tried to react in the second half, they faced a solid defense and couldn’t create clear goal-scoring opportunities.

How much did the Blues win?

After winning the championship, the London team pocketed a total of 100 million euros, 40 of them for winning the final.

In this way, the Blues conclude the 2024-2025 season with two international titles, the Conference League and the recently concluded Club World Cup.

With this, Chelsea makes an important move in their project and makes it clear that they have the necessary arguments to compete in the next edition of the UEFA Champions League, a tournament they will play in because they finished in the top positions of the Premier League.
