Netanyahu thanks Trump for the operation against nuclear facilities in Iran

Both leaders spoke on the phone at the end of the operation, which was carried out in "full coordination" between the US and Israel's armed forces.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, thanked and congratulated Donald Trump for the operation carried out this morning by the US Armed Forces against the three main Iranian nuclear facilities in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordo.

According to The New York Times, a U.S. government official revealed that six B-2 bombers dropped a dozen “bunker-buster” bombs on the Fordo nuclear complex, and that one B-2 also released two GBU-57 bombs on Natanz. Additionally, submarines launched 30 cruise missiles against the Natanz and Isfahan sites.

Only the United States has the 13-ton “bunker buster” bomb and the B-2 aircraft to drop them.

What did Netanyahu say about the United States’ attack on Iran?

“Congratulations, President Trump. Your bold decision to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities with the imposing and just power of the United States will change history,” the Israeli leader stated in a speech broadcasted through his personal account on the social media platform X.

Both leaders spoke on the phone at the end of the operation, which was carried out in “full coordination” between the US Army and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). "Immediately after the operation, President Trump called me. It was a very warm and emotional conversation," the Israeli politician mentioned.

Netanyahu described the US attack as a “historic milestone,” stating that the bombings have denied the “world’s most dangerous regime the world’s most dangerous weapons.”

“President Trump and I often say, ‘Peace is achieved through strength. First comes strength, then comes peace.’ And tonight, President Trump and the United States acted with great strength. President Trump, I thank you. The people of Israel thank you,” Netanyahu stated.

Likewise, he praised the performance of the United States military forces in the attack operation. “Israel has done truly amazing things. But in tonight’s action against Iran’s nuclear facilities, the United States has been truly unstoppable. It has done what no other country in the world could do,” said the Israeli Prime Minister.
