Actor Jared Leto has been accused by nine women of engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior with minors.
According to a report published by Air Mail this Saturday, the accusations against the singer also include that he would have had inappropriate contact with underage women for several years.
One of the accusers confessed that she “was 16 years old when she met Leto” in Los Angeles in 2006.
Likewise, the woman shared that the artist was visiting the popular establishment Urth Caffé accompanied by actress Ashley Olsen.
“I don’t know if he was high or what... It was the weirdest and most disgusting voice, but to me, it was Jared, you know?” the woman declared about a phone call she received from Leto days after the first encounter.
On the other hand, a spokesperson for the artist told the media that he “has not consumed alcohol or drugs in over 35 years.”
Similarly, model Laura La Rue shared her testimony about an alleged encounter with Leto in 2008, when she was 16 years old and he was 36.
La Rue claimed to have met the actor at a charity event for animal rights.
“I asked how old he was. I said: ‘I am 16. How old are you?’” he recounted.
Additionally, he described an encounter they had during a visit to Leto’s house a year after they had met, claiming that “he was flirting with her and bothering her the whole time he was there.”
Likewise, she revealed that he once entered a room completely naked where she was when she was 17 years old.
Jared Leto’s representation denied the accusations made by the model in Air Mail.
“Her communications do not contain anything sexual or inappropriate, and Miss La Rue subsequently requested to work as Mr. Leto’s personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions,” she stated.
However, La Rue denied having applied for the job.
The report also pointed out that Jared Leto would have organized parties in Los Angeles with questionable limits, allegedly recruiting young women to attend.
