Daniel Radcliffe surprised his fans by revealing the type of television he likes: “I haven’t seen The Sopranos or Breaking Bad.”

The actor talked about his likes.

The renowned actor Daniel Radcliffe, famous for his leading role in the “Harry Potter” film series, has left his fans perplexed by revealing his television preferences.

In a recent interview with ComicBook, Radcliffe confessed that he has never seen two of the most acclaimed series of the last decade: "The Sopranos" and "Breaking Bad". Instead, the actor admitted that he prefers to enjoy cartoons and reality shows.

The actor explained his aversion to long-running dramatic series, saying: "Honestly, I watch cartoons and reality shows. I have never seen 'Breaking Bad'. I have never seen 'The Sopranos' or 'The Wire'. All that heavy, hour-long content, I just can't stand it."

Radcliffe's participation in animated productions

Radcliffe, who has ventured into the world of animation lending his voice to characters in series such as "The Simpsons", "BoJack Horseman", and "Rick and Morty", attributes his preferences to his upbringing with cartoons.

The actor also pointed out that animation allows for exploring dark themes in a more humorous and accessible way. He explained it like this:

"I think a big part of 'BoJack Horseman' would be too dark and sad if it weren't for the fact that he is a talking horse."

He also mentioned an iconic gag in The Simpsons: "The classic example is Homer strangling Bart in 'The Simpsons.' In a live-action series, it is a horrible act of child abuse that is not funny at all, whereas in The Simpsons it is a recurring gag and it is funny because of what it does to Bart's neck."

Currently, Daniel is part of the voice cast of the Netflix animated series “Mulligan” and is also starring in the Broadway revival of “Merrily We Roll Along”, for which he received his first Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.
