Rumer Willis dedicates heartbreaking message to Bruce Willis on Father’s Day
This time, it was Rummer Willis who shared a heartfelt message for Father’s Day to Bruce Willis, which, for many, was described as ‘heartbreaking’ and touching, on a day that has taken on a new meaning for the 70-year-old actor’s family.
With a series of photographs alongside her father, Rummer Willis began writing an emotional letter dedicated to Bruce Willis, where she started by saying: “Today is tough, I feel a deep pain in my chest for talking to you and telling you everything that I am doing and what is happening in my life. To hug you and ask you about life and your stories and struggles and successes.”
The most emotional moment of her dedication came when she expressed: "I wish I had asked you more questions while you could still tell me everything and continued: "But I know you wouldn’t want me to be sad today, so I will try to be grateful by reminding myself how lucky I am that you are my dad and that you are still with me and I can still hug you and kiss your cheek and rub your head, I can tell you stories.
The daughter of Demi Moore continued writing and revealed Bruce Willis’ reaction to being near his granddaughter Louetta: “I can see the way your eyes light up when you see Louetta, I will be grateful for every moment I have with you,” and ended with: “Sending lots of love to all those who are on the boat with me or have lost their parents, to the single mothers who are also the dads, to my future father.”
Emma Heming also shared a heartbreaking message in which she expressed feeling particularly sad that day, saying:
“What Bruce teaches our girls goes far beyond words. Resilience, unconditional love, and the silent strength in simply being present,”, and continued:
“Love deepens. It adapts. It stays, even when everything else changes. But to be fair to myself, these symbolic days awaken a lot. I am deeply sad today. I wish, with every cell of my body, things could be different for him and lighter for our family.”
