Musk’s flip-flop: deletes message linking Trump to sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.

"It's time to drop the big bomb: Donald Trump is in Epstein's files. That's why they haven't been made public," Musk wrote.

South African Elon Musk deleted from his social media account X the post where he directly linked Donald Trump with the crimes committed by child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, one of his harshest attacks against the president amid their public feud that erupted this week over a controversial fiscal project of the White House, shaking up the far-right in the United States.

Even in a second message he wrote: “Keep this post for the future. The truth will come to light.” However, the CEO of Tesla did not reveal the documents he was talking about and did not provide evidence of his accusation.

It is also not clear if Musk deleted the posts out of regret, fear of a lawsuit, or because he is seeking to restore his strategic alliance with Trump.

What was the message that Elon Musk deleted?

“Time to drop the really big bomb. @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT,” Musk wrote last Thursday amid the breakdown of his strategic alliance with the Republican president.

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on charges of sexual abuse and trafficking of dozens of girls in the early 2000s. The billionaire took his own life by hanging himself in his cell at a New York jail one month after his arrest, following a series of “negligences and failures,” as determined by the US Department of Justice.

Musk has not deleted other messages in which he comments with emoticons on videos and opinions from users on his platform about Trump’s relationship with Epstein, but he has also posted reconciliatory responses on one of the official White House accounts (@Rapidresponse47) under a video of Trump where the president wishes him “well.”

The South African entrepreneur and far-right activist did delete other messages, including one in which he stated that there should be an impeachment to remove Trump.

At the same time, the President of the United States recently said that Musk “went crazy” and decided to sell the Tesla he bought amid the crisis facing the electric car company where the South African entrepreneur is the CEO.
