The MET Gala 2025 has left us some of the most memorable looks of this year, where each of the famous guests at the event offered their own interpretation of the theme: ‘Tailored for You’, which had prominent figures like A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, and Lewis Hamilton as co-hosts.
However, once again, women have taken over the charity gala, including Shakira, Anne Hathaway, and Georgina Rodríguez, who made her big debut at this “fashion extravaganza” in a slip dress that reminded many of Lady Di, along with other well-known faces from the entertainment world.
As expected, controversy was not far behind and there were some celebrities who didn’t quite impress during their time at the MET Gala 2025, including the name of Rosalía, who, with her classic rebellious style, once again surprised, but didn’t quite convince and even claimed that she “copied” another famous person.

One day before the celebration of the MET Gala 2025, Rosalía had already surprised everyone with a look that for many was a kind of hint that could anticipate a clue about her new album, wearing a t-shirt that read: ‘Protect Me From What I Want,’ which is the same title as a song by Placebo. She complemented this outfit with a wide-draped skirt.
But this was just a preview of what we could see in her look for the MET Gala 2025, as Rosalía posed in a dress that showcased her hourglass figure, all in white, posing next to the designer in charge of her outfit, Oliver Rousteing, who serves as the creative director of Balmain.
With an hourglass figure and a skirt with bridal undertones, Rosalía caused divided opinions. Users pointed out that not only did she break with the theme of the event, but also that her outfit was very similar to the one worn by Tyla last year, where she emulated an hourglass.
