Donald Trump referred to rock star Bruce Springsteen as an “overrated” artist, “dumb as a rock”, and with a “atrophied” face like a “prune”, in a post on his platform Truth Social.
The criticisms from the President of the United States were in response to the comments made by Springsteen during a concert in Manchester.

“My home, the United States that I love, which has been a beacon of hope and freedom for 250 years,” declared Springsteen, “is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration.”
At another time, the famous singer from New Jersey, also known as “The Boss,” accused “the richest men in the United States” of “abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death” and of “sadistically enjoying the pain they inflict on loyal American workers.”
What was Trump’s response to Springsteen?
Trump’s response has denounced the “very overrated” Bruce Springsteen, who “goes to a foreign country to speak badly about the President of the United States.” “Never liked him,” Trump added, “never liked his music, or his radical left politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guyt.”
In his social media comment, Trump also insulted his predecessor, saying that Springsteen is “just a pushy, obnoxious jerk, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent fool, and our worst ever President, who came close to destroying our Country,” so Trump said that Springsteen is “dumber than a rock.”
Additionally, Trump said of the artist, “this dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to keep his mouth shut until he gets back into the Country...Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!”
