The 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival began this Tuesday, May 13th, and little by little the celebrities are starting to parade with a new and strict rule that aims to give the event a leap towards sophistication, sobriety, and respect, avoiding at all costs “naked” garments and overly “voluminous” outfits.
This rule ended up surprising more than one person, as in the past, some of the Cannes looks broke this dress code and ended up being some of the most talked about, not only for the extravagance of the outfits, but also for the footwear, such as the famous sneakers worn by Barbara Mori in 2023.
Everything seems to indicate that the rule has been imposed and cannot be broken, as just a few hours ago, it was revealed that Halle Berry had to change her dress on the red carpet for something much more sober and modest from Chanel. However, the ‘Catwoman’ actress was not the only one who captured attention, also Eva Longoria who attended with a dazzling ‘nude’ outfit.

Before stepping onto the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, Eva Longoria shared a photoshoot where she showed off the dazzling outfit she wore upon arrival. It consisted of a sexy nude-colored slip dress with sequin detailing, paired with beige sandals and a high hairstyle with fresh waves. Additionally, her beauty look highlighted her lips with a dramatic red color.
But this stunning look was not the only thing that caught attention, as her first slip dress would be just the cherry on top of one of the winning outfits that have already paraded since the beginning of this festival.
As expected, the 50-year-old actress walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in a stunning futuristic look from Tamara Ralph Haute Couture’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, which consisted of a high-neck strapless bustier that emulated a metallic armor in gold and extended to the long skirt that lightly touched the floor. Additionally, it included a long train that complemented the structured shape of the black dress with velvet accents.

The reactions to her look were immediate, and besides being named the most elegant, Eva Longoria caused a sensation with her face. Some pointed out that the actress from ‘Desperate Housewives’ may have undergone a cosmetic treatment to look more youthful.
