At the audiovisual release, a group of fans were able to exclusively see the story of overcoming of the artist, from her beginnings until now that she is one of the top artists worldwide.

At the moment, not many details of the script are known. However, something that has come to light and has gone viral on social media are the statements of the 34-year-old woman talking about her relationship with the Puerto Rican trap artist, Anuel AA.

Carolina Giraldo Navarro, her given name, described her attempts to leave that relationship, which she called “toxic,” as a “hell” and a “nightmare.”

“My past relationship was very heavy. It was very toxic to get out of there. I would wake up and feel like I was going to die. I felt like I had no value as a person. I couldn’t see success. I couldn’t see greatness,” expressed Karol.

She continued: “I did feel like it was something I wasn’t going to be able to get out of. That I wasn’t going to be able to get out of it. When all you’re doing is suffering. You suffering, suffering, suffering in something and you don’t want to leave so you don’t suffer. And it was a fucking nightmare, it was hell.”

“The beautiful thing that came out of it all was that through my songs I had the opportunity to speak for many people who sometimes don’t know how to express what they feel.”

At the moment, the Puerto Rican has not made any statements regarding the matter.

The former couple met in 2018 during the filming of the video for “Culpables,” shortly after Anuel was released from prison. From there, they began a relationship. By 2019, they were engaged, however, in 2021 they broke up.

“Mañana Fue Muy Bonito” will officially premiere on the streaming giant on May 8th.
