Kieran Culkin, known for his role in Succession, recently revealed that his children, Kinsey, 5, and Wilder, 3, have not yet had the chance to enjoy the iconic Christmas movie Home Alone, starring him and his older brother, Macaulay Culkin. During an interview at the Gotham Awards in New York on December 2nd, the 42-year-old actor explained that the decision to keep them away from the Christmas classic is due to some scenes that could be scary for young children.
"There are still parts that are scary," Culkin commented. "For the 3-year-old, there's the tarantula and the man at the end who says, 'I'm going to bite off all your fingers.' That's terrifying for a 3-year-old." However, Culkin hinted that this could be the year when his little ones experience the magic of Home Alone. "We think they might be ready this year," he pointed out. "If not, it will be next year."

Culkin and his 35-year-old wife, Jazz Charton, are known for sharing intimate and family moments on social media. In May 2023, Charton posted on Instagram sweet photos of Culkin with their children in the apartment of the character Logan Roy from Succession. In addition to protecting his children from intense scenes, Culkin also has in mind expanding his family. In January 2024, during the Emmy Awards ceremony, where he won Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Succession, the actor mentioned his desire to have more children. "I've been asking for more kids for a while now," Culkin commented in a subsequent interview.
He remembered that his wife once joked, saying, “Maybe if you win the Emmy.” After achieving the feat, Kieran reminded her of the promise, although Jazz claimed not to remember saying it.
