Donald Trump publicly denied recent rumors about his health through a message posted a few days ago on his social media platform, Truth Social. In his post, the president stated: “Never felt better in my life”, along with a link to another user’s post criticizing media coverage of his whereabouts and comparing it to how former president Joe Biden has been treated.

In recent days, unfounded theories circulated on social media suggesting possible medical complications for the U.S. president.

Speculation arose after Trump made no public appearances from a Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, August 28, until this Tuesday. Observers also noted that last weekend schedule remained empty, fueling further rumors.

Adding to this, in an interview published by USA Today, Vice President JD Vance said he was prepared to assume office in the event of a “terrible tragedy.” However, he also stressed that Trump enjoys “incredibly good health.”

Digital Activity Contrasts With Public Absence

Despite not being seen at official events for several days, Trump remained active on social media. On Saturday, August 31, he was spotted again—this time en route to his golf club in Virginia, according to press reports.

Meanwhile, searches about his health became one of the most popular queries on Google by midday Saturday. In addition, the phrase “Where is Donald Trump” trended on X, according to Forbes.

Over the weekend, the president shared numerous posts from his official account. Among them, he reiterated his belief that Washington, D.C. is now a safe city, called for an end to mail-in voting, and denounced an incident in the White House Rose Garden. In that case, he accused a worker of damaging a stone feature and shared security footage as evidence.

Medical Background Had Already Raised Doubts

These latest rumors are not the first to question the Republican president’s health. A few weeks ago, photos circulated online showing Trump with swollen ankles and purplish-colored hands, sparking speculation about circulatory problems.

In July, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Trump, 79, had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency. She explained that it is a common condition in older adults that occurs when the veins in the legs have difficulty carrying blood back to the heart.

Leavitt added that there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease. She also reported that recent medical tests, including a blood count and an echocardiogram, produced results within normal ranges.

On January 20, at the age of 78 years and 7 months, Trump became the oldest person ever sworn in as president of the United States—surpassing even Joe Biden, whom the Republican had long attacked over his age and health.
