Trump has a store with his products and those of the MAGA in the White House

Among the merchandise of the president of the United States, caps promoting his unconstitutional reelection in 2028 stand out.

Last Monday, the White House made headlines around the world due to the marathon day in which the President of the United States met with Volodímir Zelensky and the main European leaders, but it was also a topic of discussion on social media due to a store selling products related to Donald Trump and his MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement.

One of those products includes hats that say “Trump 2028” for a possible new presidential candidacy by the Republican magnate, even though the current Constitution prohibits it.

The corner was initially captured on August 9, during the visit of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, however, it went viral due to an image of Margo Martin, the president’s communications advisor, in which Trump shows the merchandise to Zelensky on August 18.

What does Trump have in the White House store?

According to the photo of the Republican leader’s advisor, a display case was seen with various items such as signed books, personalized water bottles, and caps with phrases like “Trump 2028”, “Gulf of America”, “4 more years”, and “Trump was right about everything”.

The existence of a gift shop within the White House is not new, according to People. It was created during the presidency of Harry S. Truman in 1950 as a point to offer souvenirs to official visitors. However, the new installation is a different space, outside the usual protocol, solely intended to promote his image and political agenda.

According to Margo Martin, communications advisor to the president, Trump was seen showing a cap with the slogan “4 More Years” to President Zelensky and French President Emmanuel Macron during their meeting in the West Wing. This image, widely circulated on digital platforms, reinforced the idea that the American president seeks to highlight his own symbols, such as the possibility of running for the next presidential election.

When asked by People about this merchandising display, the White House communications office did not provide an official explanation regarding the nature or intention of this promotional corner.

Changes in interior decoration

In addition to changes in the gardens of the White House and the inclusion of this merchandise store, Trump has made changes to the interior of the official residence. One of the most talked-about modifications was the placement of his own portraits on different walls of the building, some of which reportedly temporarily replaced images of previous presidents.

It has also been reported about a partial renovation in the Oval Office, in which the president would have chosen new decorative elements to reflect his personal aesthetic.
