“I am very excited to be part of the first live broadcast of the NFL on YouTube, it is an honor and a moment that I am very proud to be a part of,” the artist expressed as reported by the Billboard magazine in its digital edition.
“I have seen many NFL halftime shows over the years and now having this opportunity to bring my music to this global stage means a lot to me. I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in São Paulo and with fans around the world.”
It was indicated that the game will be broadcast for free on YouTube on September 5th, starting with a pre-game show at 7:00pm Eastern time, which will take place one hour before the start of the game.
Karol G released her fifth studio album, "Tropicoqueta“, in June, where she pays tribute to Latin culture.
After almost two years of personal and artistic evolution, Karol G immerses herself in a universe where sensuality is power, nostalgia takes center stage, and that same stage becomes an altar for everything that has been denied, ignored, or judged.
The album is inspired by Latin American vedettes, women who were light and controversy, object and subject at the same time, and who, under Karol’s gaze, are reborn as icons of bold freedom, courage, and unfiltered art.
The album features a group of collaborators, including Eddy Lover, Feid, Greeicy, Manu Chao, Mariah Angeliq, and Marco Antonio Solís, who contribute depth to the project’s connection with the roots, essence, and origins of each represented genre.
