A story marked by the Colombian conflict

After the official statement of the death was released, the first reactions from Uribe Turbay’s close circle began to appear and of course, his sister María Carolina Hoyos was one of the first to write on social media.

Today’s emotional and painful farewell from Hoyos highlights that Uribe Turbay’s story was marked by the Colombian conflict, starting with the assassination of his mother and now, history repeats itself.

“Miguel warrior, this was God’s will. I can’t find explanations, but I have no choice but to accept this new pain with faith. I am sure that our mom, who loves you so much, is welcoming you today with open arms. Mom... our grandmother, our life mother, is also waiting for you with infinite tenderness," wrote Hoyos.
