Where is the plant?

The plant, located on the banks of the Monongahela River, is considered the largest coking operation in North America and one of the four main facilities of U.S. Steel in Pennsylvania, employing several thousand workers.

Coque is a solid fuel derived from coal that is mainly used in steel manufacturing. This material is essential for powering blast furnaces in the steelmaking process, making the plant a key facility for the steel industry in North America.
