Trump’s order to Bondi comes at a time when the Jeffrey Epstein scandal resurfaces in the United States after the FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) concluded in an investigation that the mogul did not have a list of famous clients he was blackmailing.

The FBI and the DOJ confirmed Epstein’s death by suicide, thus debunking the theory that he had been murdered to protect his acquaintances, and they announced that they would not release any further investigations into the case.

What did Trump say to request the release of Epstein’s files?

“Based on the ridiculous amount of advertising given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to present each and every relevant grand jury testimony, subject to court approval. This SCAM, perpetrated by the Democrats, must end, right now!” wrote the president on his Truth Social network.

The most ardent supporters of the right-wing Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement of the President of the United States were left unsatisfied with the findings of that investigation, as Trump, Bondi, and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino had promised before the start of this administration to reveal “the truth” about the case.

Trump had promised during his campaign to publish the mentioned “client list,” a supposed agenda of Epstein’s accomplices that would include celebrities and influential politicians, and which has been the center of numerous conspiracy theories in far-right circles for years, who now feel betrayed.

It is expected that during this Friday, Bondi will request a federal judge to release the grand jury transcripts related to Epstein’s sex trafficking charges.

Wall Street Journal publishes alleged letter from Trump to Epstein

The closure of the case by the prosecution and the FBI occurred after billionaire Elon Musk, without evidence and after leaving the government, claimed on social media that Trump appears on that alleged list. Musk later regretted it and deleted that post.

In addition, The Wall Street Journal published the content of a supposed letter written by Trump to Epstein in 2003 that allegedly contained “several lines of typed text framed by the outline of a naked woman” that the Republican would have drawn. According to the WSJ, Trump concluded the letter with the phrase: “Happy Birthday, and may each day be another wonderful secret.”

Moments after the publication of this article, Trump announced that he will sue The Wall Street Journal, News Corp, and the owner of the latter, Rupert Murdoch, for disclosing the content of the letter.
