The CNN network and the newspaper The New York Times questioned this week the successful outcome that Israel and the United States claimed from the recent bombings on the facilities of Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow, triggering the usual response from Trump towards critical media outlets.

Trump accused both media outlets of spreading fake news and of belittling the work of the fighter pilots who participated in that operation.
The president of the United States even went so far as to call for the firing of CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand for her reporting on the attack.
Why does Trump accuse the Democrats?
“The Democrats are the ones who leaked the information about the perfect flight to Iran’s nuclear facilities. They should be prosecuted!”, wrote the Republican president on Truth Social, once again highlighting the success of that operation.
As is often the case, Trump did not present evidence for his accusations.
After what has appeared in the media this week, the government is now considering how to limit Congress’s access to this type of information, although it has not responded on how they will meet the demands for oversight from the congressmen.
The White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, stated that the government wants to ensure that classified information “does not end up in irresponsible hands” and emphasized the importance of holding accountable those who have access to it.
Both CNN and The New York Times cited the Defense Intelligence Agency, which stated that the bombings did not destroy the central elements of the Iranian nuclear program and, therefore, only delayed it for a few months.
