Does Trump want to overthrow the current government of Iran?

“It is not politically correct to use the expression ‘regime change’, but if the current Iranian regime is not capable of ‘making Iran great again’, why shouldn’t there be a regime change? MIGA!!!” stated on his social network, Truth Social.

The president spoke about the bombings and highlighted that "the damage to Iran’s nuclear facilities is said to have been ‘monumental’." He then added, “the impacts were powerful and precise. Great skill demonstrated by our soldiers. Thank you!”

According to The New York Times, six B-2 bombers dropped a dozen “bunker-busting” bombs on the Fordo nuclear complex and one B-2 also released two GBU-57 bombs on Natanz. Additionally, submarines fired 30 cruise missiles at the Natanz and Isfahan sites.

Trump himself confirmed that B-2 aircraft bombed the Iranian nuclear facilities and are already back at their base. “The great B-2 pilots have just landed safe and sound in Missouri. Thank you for a job well done!!!” the president congratulated them.

Trump talked with the British Prime Minister

Donald Trump and Keir Starmer had a phone conversation this Sunday following the United States’ attacks on Iran.

“They talked about the situation in the Middle East and reiterated the serious risk posed by the Iranian nuclear program to international security. They discussed the measures taken last night by the United States to reduce the threat and agreed that Iran should never be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon,” a statement released by the British government said.

Additionally, Starmer and Trump addressed “the need for Iran to return to the negotiating table as soon as possible and move towards a lasting agreement.”
