The Duchess explains that this return to her creative side feels like a new beginning in her relationship. “It’s almost like a honeymoon again,” she adds. “Because it’s exactly how it was at the beginning, when he would watch me write, write newsletters, adjust editions, and really be on top of the details. I think he loves watching as much as I love being part of that creative process. It’s just been fun. That’s how I’ve always been.”
From The Tig to New Projects
Although Meghan closed her successful lifestyle blog The Tig in 2017, after her engagement to Harry, she never left behind her love for the creative world. The Tig was a reflection of her passion for food, travel, and wellness. However, real life and her relationship with Prince Harry led to the decision to step back from social media.
Meghan recalls how, although it hurt her to leave the blog, her priorities were clear: “Well, I loved The TIG, but I undoubtedly love my husband more. So that was a decision I made at the time and I wouldn’t change it for a second.”
Despite this sacrifice, Meghan has returned to the business world stronger than ever, supported by the unwavering support of her husband.
