Tom Brady will face a different Thanksgiving this year, as Gisele Bündchen celebrates with her new partner, Joaquim Valente, and their children in Costa Rica. According to a close source, the model and the former NFL quarterback have decided not to share the festivities together after their divorce in 2022, maintaining an agreement where they prioritize the well-being of their children.

While 44-year-old Bündchen enjoys the holiday with Valente, who is also her jiu-jitsu instructor and now partner, 47-year-old Brady will be busy working. The seven-time Super Bowl champion will be calling the broadcast of the highly anticipated Thanksgiving game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants for Fox Sports, where he currently works as a commentator.

Tom Brady is 100% focused on work.

Although he won't be spending the holiday with his children Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, Brady will have opportunities to be with them during the rest of the holiday season, the same source assures. In addition to Benjamin and Vivian, Brady is also the father of Jack, 17, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.

Since their separation, the relationship between Bündchen and Valente has progressed rapidly. The couple started dating in June 2023, and on October 28th, the Brazilian model announced that she was expecting her first child with Valente, news that surprised Brady. According to reports, although the former quarterback knew their relationship was serious, he did not anticipate they would take this step so soon.

Despite the initial surprise, Brady has shown support towards Bündchen in this new stage. His focus seems to be on maintaining a cordial relationship for the sake of their children and continuing his transition to a new life after retiring from professional football. On her part, Bündchen appears happy with Valente, enjoying a completely different chapter in her life. Thanksgiving in Costa Rica seems to be a manifestation of this change, marking a holiday far from the family traditions she shared with Brady.
