What will Ferrari do in collaboration with Paramount Pictures for the premiere of Gladiator II?
Their drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, will attend the film premiere in London before having to fly across an entire ocean to participate in the Formula 1 race. For the event in Vegas, which has already become a 'classic' on the motorsport calendar, both drivers from the Maranello team will have a tribute to the film on their cars' livery as they continue in their own gladiator battle: to win the constructors' title in the category.
According to the press release: "Paramount Pictures is thrilled to partner with Scuderia Ferrari HP for an exclusive and unique collaboration celebrating the premiere of Gladiator II, the highly anticipated sequel to the iconic 2000 film. As part of this initiative, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will attend the world premiere in London, wearing custom-tailored tuxedos designed by Ferrari's creative director, Rocco Iannone".
"Your presence will bring the exciting racing spirit to the movie launch. This unique collaboration will also extend through digital and television channels, showcasing exclusive content and Ferrari-branded decorations at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, offering fans an immersive experience that combines cinematic storytelling with the thrill of high performance by Paramount Pictures and Scuderia Ferrari HP."
Set in Ancient Rome, years after the original movie portrayed Russell Crowe as Maximus, the sequel directed by Ridley Scott follows Lucius, played by Paul Mescal, who met the duo from Il Cavalino a couple of weeks ago when they visited the Texan soil for the Austin GP.
The President of Worldwide Marketing and Distribution at Paramount Pictures, Marc Weinstock, defined the film as follows: "Gladiator II offers the audience an epic experience with unparalleled scope and scale."
“It was logical for us to partner with the most iconic brand and with adrenaline in motor sports,” he continued. “Together with Ferrari, we are creating a unique entertainment experience that highlights our shared legacy of excellence and innovation.”
