The celebration of Los Angeles Dodgers fans for the team’s victory in the World Series got out of control, as many were caught looting stores and causing damage.
The team managed to defeat the New York Yankees on the night of October 30th, and fans began to celebrate near Dodger Stadium. At 11 p.m., it was reported that a mob of people wearing Dodgers jerseys started to loot a Nike store located four miles away.

Dodgers fans burned a bus
Elsewhere, a man painted in blue began scribbling on the sidewalk in front of a riot police team that had arrived to disperse Dodgers fans. However, the man managed to escape and another person carrying the paint cans in his backpack was arrested.
Other areas of Los Angeles also joined the madness and people began to loot different businesses, as reported by ABC 7 channel. The Police Department did not disclose the total number of people who were arrested for looting.
It was also reported that around 12:30 a.m., an enraged crowd of 200 to 300 people gathered near Dodger Stadium and began vandalizing a bus. Hours later, images of the bus on fire appeared, and then it exploded. Firefighters arrived shortly after to extinguish the flames.

The mob of Dodgers fans behaved violently towards the authorities trying to disperse them. The mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, warned that violence would not be tolerated during the celebratory parade they have planned for Friday, November 1st in the morning.
"The Los Angeles Police Department is currently on tactical alert and has activated a strategic plan to protect communities and businesses, which includes a proactive deployment and a coordinated strategy with regional partners to ensure that all Angelenos can celebrate safely," the mayor stated.
