Donald Trump was seen working at the drive-thru of a McDonald’s in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which surprised the public. The images captured the former president wearing an apron from the fast-food chain, performing tasks such as operating the fryer and delivering orders to customers.

The customers who were at the venue during Trump's presence were not there by chance. According to his campaign team, each customer was previously analyzed for security reasons, suggesting a careful and controlled approach at this campaign event.

Pennsylvania stands out among the 7 key swing states for the upcoming presidential elections and has been the scene of countless events for both candidates.

Does McDonald's support Donald Trump?

Additionally, the restaurant was closed to the public during the time Trump was there, ensuring a controlled and safe environment for both him and those present.

This campaign strategy could be related to Kamala Harris' previous experience, another presidential candidate, who mentioned having worked at a McDonald's during her college years. Trump, known for his straightforward comments, made a joke about the situation, stating: "Now I have worked 15 minutes more than Kamala."

Trump and his allies have insinuated that the candidate's work experience in the chain is not mentioned in the Democratic candidate's resume, sparking a debate about the authenticity of the candidates' work histories.

On the other hand, McDonald's has rushed to clarify its position regarding this event. In a statement, the company emphasized that it does not support political candidates and that its presence in the electoral conversation is more a reflection of the cultural connection it has with Americans.

"McDonald's does not endorse candidates for elected office, and that remains true in this race for the next president. We are not red or blue, we are golden. Upon receiving the request from the former president, we approached it from the perspective of one of our core values: we open our doors to everyone," the company emphasized.

This unique event highlights Trump's unconventional campaign tactics, while also shedding light on the role of brands in American politics.
