Donald Trump is currently in the midst of an electoral campaign to have the opportunity to lead the United States once again on November 5th. In recent days, this situation has become somewhat difficult for him due to the significant rise in the polls of the Vice President and Democratic Party candidate, Kamala Harris.

Among his many promises for a new government, the Republican candidate expressed the possibility of offering a position to Elon Musk as an advisor or even a secretary. "He is a very intelligent guy. Without a doubt, he would do it. He is a brilliant guy."

The response from the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX was quick and came through a post on the social network, X, which he acquired in April 2022 with the name Twitter. In the post, the South African billionaire accepted to join Donald Trump's work team, in the hypothetical case of him being victorious.
"I am ready to serve"
Accompanied by a photo of him on a podium, Musk indicated his willingness to serve Trump and be one of the employees of the White House. The post generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be read with the caption "Department of Government Efficiency," clearly hinting at the possibility of a future government position.
True to his style of not missing any opportunity to stand out on social media, Musk took advantage of the occasion to play a game. He created his own acronym for that department, which actually does not exist: DOGE (Department Of Government Efficiency). This was an explicit reference to the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, which he himself promoted in 2021.
The relationship between Musk and Trump is becoming closer, however, in the past they have had their differences, recalling the episode from July 2022, when the 53-year-old magnate stated that Trump was too old to aspire to return to the White House, as he was then supporting the candidacy of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Trump did not stay silent and called him a “master of nonsense.”
