"Hoda, Hoda, Hoda, Hoda. I had so many bright and fun things prepared for you, for this message, but I'm too tired!" This is how Sandra Bullock began her message.
Sandra Bullock reflects on aging and assures that there is nothing to fear
"I am tired because I had to climb that mountain before you arrived there to be able to check the terrain and see what things were there and inform you properly," said Sandra Bullock.
The actress then shared a reflection on aging and how society makes us fear reaching that point: "It's strange because people seem to want us to be afraid of what it will be like when we get there, but it turns out it's really great, it's amazing."
Sandra Bullock seems to have found some peace after retiring from acting, as she now has time to contemplate life and dedicate herself fully to her children.
The Oscar winner turned 60 a few weeks ago and celebrated with her children Louis and Laila. TV host Hoda Kotb, who also turned 60, commented after watching her friend's video that she was the one who finally gave her the push to become a mother because at the age she wanted to have children, she thought she was too old.
“The reason I have Haley and Hope is because when I was looking for inspiration from someone who was a mother at my age, Sandra Bullock appeared. I called her and said, ‘tell me about motherhood,’ and she said, ‘it’s the best decision I’ve ever made in my life.’ From that moment on, she paved the way,” the host recounted.
