What will the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games be like?

The shows will be broadcasted from California with a mix of recorded and live performances. Expert Ben Winston, who is involved in the production of the Grammy Awards, will coordinate with the French producers of the closing ceremony.

Snoop Dogg has been quite a figure in these Games. The well-known rapper and entrepreneur carried the torch at the opening ceremony and was the center of attention at several of the sporting events held in the French capital, showing his support for Team USA and always demonstrating his distinctive personality. Dogg was also a member of the NBC team in Paris and worked as a commentator for the network.

Eilish, on the other hand, is one of the most influential names in the music industry of the last decade, and hails from Los Angeles (her 2021 concert is titled "Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles"). Completing the lineup with Dogg and Eilish are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the famous band that also started in Los Angeles in the 80s and has maintained their success internationally.

But that's not all, as according to rumors, actor Tom Cruise will also have a small role, getting on his motorcycle to perform daring stunts in France, before appearing in a recorded clip where he will be seen skydiving next to the iconic Hollywood sign.

The ending is planned to be a solemn spectacle, with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass receiving the Olympic torch and bringing it back to the United States upon its return from Paris, in a clear symbolism of how the city will begin preparing to host the Summer Games in three years, on July 14, 2028.
