How did Simone Biles do in the vault at Paris 2024?

The 27-year-old gymnast, who had just won the gold in the all-around final, was the fourth to perform. Her first jump had a difficulty of 6.4 degrees and she scored 15.700, after a one-tenth penalty. In her second jump, she scored 14.900 for a total average of 15.300 and secured the first place indisputably.

The Brazilian Rebeca Andrade, who has also amazed everyone so far in the Games, shined in the first jump, scoring 15.100. She had to make a perfect jump in the second (5.4 degrees of difficulty), but it was not enough to surpass the American. In total, she averaged 14.966.

On the upcoming Monday, August 5th, in the balance beam and floor finals, Simone could increase her legend and equal the record of the Soviet Larisa Latynina, who has nine gold medals in three Olympic Games.
