The presidential campaign in the United States is heating up, largely due to the repetitive errors when delivering speeches or making comments by the candidate for re-election, Joe Biden.

It seems that this Thursday, July 11, during an activity at NATO, was the last straw and set off the alarms in the Democratic Party, after the current president of the United States made the incredible mistake of presenting his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, as Vladimir Putin. To top it off, he mentioned Donald Trump as his vice president instead of Kamala Harris.

To calm the storm, Biden tried to make light of the moment and downplay it, later stating in a press conference that he is prepared for a second term: "I would not run again if I did not believe with all my heart and soul that I can do the job. There is too much at stake."
Key meeting to save the elections
Different media outlets, including CNN, detailed that in the last hours of this Thursday, the former President of the United States, Barack Obama, and the member of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, held an emergency meeting to devise a plan that could save them from an imminent defeat on November 5th.
According to the website Playbook, Pelosi is considering waiting until the end of the NATO summit to ask Biden to decline his presidential aspiration. Additionally, the 84-year-old woman has reportedly advised several Democrats to do the unthinkable to secure their own re-elections, including among the alternatives, asking Biden to resign from his candidacy.
On the other hand, Obama is trying to find a way to save everything while being at the center of the storm, as different media outlets claim that he met with George Clooney before the actor expressed his dissatisfaction with how Biden has been handling things lately. Obama did not intervene to prevent the actor from making the comment and stirring up the waters further.
Of course, it didn't take long for the mockery from Donald Trump to arrive, who on his social media platforms stated: "What a great job, Joe," adding that "Corrupt Joe has a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome."
