The American actor, Brad Pitt, was the sensation in the Silverstone paddock, just a few hours before the British Grand Prix, where he is carrying out duties as just another driver on the circuit.

The reason for his presence in a pilot uniform is the filming of the new Formula 1 movie titled "F1".

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the film will premiere in theaters worldwide on June 25, 2025. In addition to directing, Kosinski is also one of the producers, alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films.
Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner from Plan B Entertainment, along with seven-time world racing champion Lewis Hamilton under his Dawn Apollo Films label, are also part of the production team.
The script has been written by Ehren Kruger, nominated for an Academy Award for "Top Gun: Maverick", and Penni Thow serves as executive producer.
Plot and cast
In "F1", Brad Pitt plays a former driver who returns to Formula 1, accompanied by Damson Idris, who plays his teammate at APXGP, a fictional team on the starting grid.
The movie was shot during the weekends of the actual Grand Prix races, while the team competes against the titans of the sport.
The cast also includes Kerry Condon, Academy Award nominee; Javier Bardem, Oscar winner; Tobias Menzies, Emmy winner and Golden Globe nominee; Sarah Niles; Kim Bodnia; and Samson Kayo.
Production and Collaboration with Formula 1
The movie is made in collaboration with Formula 1, with filming taking place at races and real tracks throughout the F1 season, as reported by Deadline.
The BBC reported that Brad Pitt returned to the British Grand Prix this week to continue with the production of the movie.
It is expected that this weekend, during the British Grand Prix, a teaser of the film will be released, further increasing the anticipation.
