Concerns about the sobriety of Ben Affleck are increasing amid rumors of his possible divorce from Jennifer Lopez. According to close sources, the actor, who has struggled with alcoholism and a gambling addiction for decades, may be returning to drinking due to the “acute sadness” he feels about the situation in his marriage.

Actor's friends have shared their concerns exclusively with DailyMail.com, stating that the 51-year-old Affleck is "at risk" of relapsing into his addiction or has already resumed drinking alcohol.

Last Sunday night, Affleck and Lopez were seen at the $60 million mansion they used to share. They spent four hours in the house, which is now supposedly up for sale, in a private meeting. The following year there was a setback when he was photographed leaving a Halloween party intoxicated.
