Gisele Bündchen has gone through complicated times after her divorce from Tom Brady, as although she has wanted to rebuild her life, she has not been able to, as her relationship with her jiu jitsu coach, Joaquim Valente, has not been able to prosper, as it was recently revealed that they have ended their relationship.

João Paulo Diniz

The artist entered into a relationship with the now deceased Brazilian businessman, who was 17 years older than her at the time. This connection was established at the beginning of her career as a model when Bündchen was just 19 years old. In 1999, right after winning the VH1 Model of the Year award, Bündchen started her relationship with Paulo Diniz. However, this romantic relationship only lasted a few months.

Scott Barnhill

The same year she cut ties with João, Gisele started dating fellow model Scott Barnhill. Although the two only dated for a few months, the couple appeared in an issue of Vogue in 1999 and ended their relationship amicably.

Rico Mansur

In 2002, she started dating the Brazilian polo player. They were together for six months. The controversial part of their relationship was that Mansur met Bundchen while he was engaged to Brazilian model and TV presenter Isabella Fiorentino, but he called it off to pursue Bundchen.

Leonardo DiCaprio

This was Gisele's longest relationship prior to her marriage, as she was with the actor for six years, from 1999 to 2005. Bündchen began her relationship with DiCaprio at the age of 20, and their relationship unfolded in the public eye.

Although they seemed to be the ideal Hollywood couple in front of the cameras, Bündchen suffered from severe anxiety throughout the time she was with the Hollywood heartthrob. In her autobiography, the model reflected on how her relationship with DiCaprio affected her as she began to confront her anxieties and discard unhealthy habits.

Kelly Slater

In 2005, the model started dating professional surfer Kelly Slater, although they separated after being together for less than a year.

At the end of 2006, Gisele had a brief romance with the actor, but things did not prosper and each went their separate ways.

Tom Brady

In 2006, Gisele and the NFL star went on a blind date, which marked the beginning of their relationship. The instant chemistry between them was evident, and Brady quickly moved towards becoming her husband.

Three years later, the couple got engaged, and shortly after they celebrated an intimate wedding ceremony. For 13 years, their union endured the trials of married life until their divorce in 2022.

It is rumored that one of the challenges in their relationship was Bündchen's alleged pressure on Brady to retire from American football on several occasions. This tension reached its peak when Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a third season, a decision that many consider one of the main causes of their divorce.

Joaquim Valente

One month after finalizing her divorce from Tom, Joaquim and Gisele were seen together in public. The couple was spotted enjoying what seemed to be a dinner on the beach in Costa Rica in November 2022.

In February 2024, a source close to the couple confirmed that they had been dating since June 2023. “Joaquim is a great guy. He is grounded, kind, and inspiring,” the source told People.
