Why is Richard Gere moving to Spain?
In a recent interview with the Spanish edition of 'Vanity Fair' magazine, the actor explained the reason behind his decision to move to Europe.
This year, he will move to Spain, the home country of his current partner, Alejandra Silva.
"For me, going to Madrid is going to be a great adventure because I have never lived full-time outside of the United States," said the actor.
Gere and Silva got married in Spain six years ago. Initially, after their marriage, the couple established their residence in New York, but now, six years later, they have chosen to change countries.
“She was very generous in giving me six years living in my world, so I think it is fair that I give her at least another six living in hers,” added Gere.
