Any option of retiring any time soon was ruled out, after Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs reached an agreement to restructure his contract until the end of the 2025 season, when the tight end will be 36 years old.
Kelce’s current contract was paying him an average of 14 million dollars annually. The new contract will increse his salary, up to 17.1 million dollars per year, making Taylor Swift’s boyfriend the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.
Kelce surpasses Darren Weller of the Giants, who has a $17 million contract with the Giants.
