Bad Bunny poses with the NBA trophy as JJ Barea did

The Puerto Rican has expressed on multiple occasions that he is a fan of the NBA.

Puerto Rican urban artist Bad Bunny is once again in the eyes of the world after having the honor of being very close to the NBA championship trophy, the basketball league of the United States.

Through the official NBA account, a video was published showing the Puerto Rican player touching the trophy named Larry O'Brien. The post is part of a campaign that the NBA has been running during the postseason with multiple music stars alongside the coveted trophy.

"What's up, Larry?" can be heard the Puerto Rican saying in the video. Likewise, the NBA wrote in their post alongside the video on Instagram: "What's up, Bad Bunny?"

Later, a photograph was published where Bad Bunny poses with the trophy, imitating Puerto Rican basketball player José Juan Barea when he won the championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011.

The urban singer is a big fan of the NBA and has been seen at multiple games, especially in Los Angeles where the Lakers play. In an interview with Santiago Matías “Alofoke,” Bad Bunny stated that LeBron James is a better player currently than Michael Jordan was in his glory years.

Additionally, Bad Bunny is the owner of the Santurce Crabbers in the National Superior Basketball (BSN) league and has been seen in the stands of the games, especially last year when he wasn't on tour.

The NBA started the postseason last weekend, where several teams are fighting to win the trophy that Bad Bunny touched. The Oklahoma City Thunder lead 1-0 against the New Orleans Pelicans, the Los Angeles Clippers won the first game against the Dallas Mavericks (series 1-0), as well as the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are also 1-0 against the Phoenix Suns. The Los Angeles Lakers, on the other hand, couldn't beat the Denver Nuggets and are down 1-0 in the series.

In the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics lead 1-0 against the Miami Heat, the Cleveland Cavaliers are also up 1-0 against the Orlando Magic, the Milwaukee Bucks are ahead 1-0 against the Indiana Pacers, and the New York Knicks are leading 1-0 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
